I am an instructional designer with experience in K-12 and higher education. I have experience leading teachers, supporting and mentoring new educators, and coaching both new and experienced educators in how to meaningfully integrate technology into their instructional practice as a technology coach. I have designed and led professional development on a variety of topics, both in-person and virtually and created supplemental materials and guides. I have developed F2F, online, and blended learning courses in Blackboard, Schoology, and Canvas with a focus on accessibility using instructional design best practices.
In my eight years in the classroom, I taught in a variety of different contexts and grade levels, which required flexibility, adaptability, and creative thinking when faced with new contexts and content. As an instructional designer, I have worked with both full- and part-time faculty to design and redesign courses, including supporting faculty in adapting courses to different modalities. I also have experience in high school math course development and have also worked with a subject matter expert to design a course for a required rotation of a medical residency program.
